The Institute for Life Coach Training
The Institute for Life
Coach Training, (formerly Therapist University), is the first-of-its-kind
training institute that specializes in training psychotherapists,
psychologists, counselors and helping professionals in building a
successful coaching practice. Dr. Patrick Williams, psychologist and
Master Certified Coach (MCC), founded the Institute in late 1998 after
completing his own advanced training at Coach University.
The basis for the ILCT's 40 hour training program is the Foundational
Program. A description of the six modules may be found at
http://www.lifecoachtraining.com/courses/foundational/index.shtml
In addition to the Foundational Program, the Institute for Life Coach
Training's Advanced Training provides graduate school caliber training for
practicing professional coaches who have received a minimum of 30 hours of
coach training. All of these classes meet the International Coach
Federation requirements for obtaining credentials or CEUs.
The Institute for Life Coach Training is an Accredited Coach Training
Program by the International Coach Federation (ICF). We offer two paths to
certification:
1. The Certified Life Coach (CLC) credential and
2. The Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or the Professional Certified
Coach (PCC) credentials.
Information on requirements for either of these credentials may be found
at
http://www.lifecoachtraining.com/about/certification.shtml
Since its inception, the Institute has graduated hundreds of students
across the US, Canada, Asia, Australia, and Europe. The curriculum at the
Institute for Life Coach Training is continually re-evaluated to ensure
that state-of-the-art training is provided. Additional information may be
